In 2009 we started our journey by introducing woodworkers to innovative technologies that would expand and grow their businesses. Dealing with multiple overseas vendors, and the competitive and vulnerable environment of the “new” market, we needed to refocus our goals and objectives.
In January of 2015, we introduced the first automated contour edgebanding machine made in America – ever. It’s a compact machine that’s making a significant impact on American shops. The nVision provides the ability for woodworking professionals to band and trim almost ANY complex shape. Our legendary tight butt joints and ability to band extremely tight inside/outside radii set us apart from the rest.
Our new focus was dropping our overseas import interests. We now develop and manufacture our SNX nVision contour banders in-house at our Sauk Rapids, Minnesota facility. With full control of our destiny, we’re continuing to advance our machines with new features and to expand into new markets.

Xcel-Edge chemicals and glue were formed in 2016 when we partnered with a local chemist to develop a line of chemicals for both straight-line and contour edgebanders. Supporting chemicals are necessary in the edgebanding process and Xcel-Edge has since become one of the #1 selling chemicals in America and continues to grow market share.
