On a standard contour edgebanding setup, the drive and pressure wheel need consistent contact with the part to feed it smoothly through the banding and trimming stations. When a part has a tight inside radius, that contact point becomes unstable right at the corner, and the part can pull away mid-feed. On any woodworking CNC machine without the right hardware for this, that usually means a scrapped part and a stopped line.

What the Tight Inside Radius Kit Actually Does

The kit adds a 3-inch wide drive roller along with a 2-inch extension to the pressure wheel. That extra width and reach keeps consistent contact with the part through the tightest part of the corner, instead of losing grip right when it matters most.
